SheROX Women’s Triathlon coming to Steel Lake Park July 10
The SheROX Federal Way Women’s Triathlon will take place for the seventh time in the last eight years on July 10. The triathlon took a one-year hiatus in 2009 because the previous organizers of the event weren’t seeing the growth they expected.
Any bathing suit ideas?
I am a Muslim girl. Recently, I was invited to a friend’s birthday party, where we will be going on a water slide and possibly a hot tub. I am not allowed to wear a bikini or one piece swimming suit. Do you think a black under armour shirt and basketball shorts that reach my knee caps would be appropriate?

I think that IS a nice idea.
But since its all girls, you can wear a tank top. With wide shoulder straps. Or one of those tank-top style sports bras; this way you get a bit of support and don’t have to wear something underneath…which will be annoying. Because if you are developed, you may need to wear a bra or tank under your UA shirt.
Just considering your comfort. And you can definitely wear shorts. See if you can get surf shorts for girls. Usually basketball shorts are made with fabric that become very heavy with water. So just get surf/ boarding shorts…(whatever length you feel comfortable in).
You can get them very cheap at sporting goods store or department stores.
